Tom is the hands and heart behind Elemental Timber. A lifelong woodworker with a perfectionist’s eye and a deep respect for craftsmanship, Tom takes immense pride in every piece he creates. His journey began in Scotland, where he honed his skills under a master craftsman, learning the value of precision, patience, and detail.
Today, Tom creates bespoke fine furniture and lighting from his workshop on our family farm in the Sunshine Coast hinterland, where we live with our young son, surrounded by native woodland that inspires his work daily. For Tom, woodworking isn’t just a profession — it’s a lifelong passion, and every piece he makes reflects a commitment to quality, sustainability, and timeless design.
